TARGET CELLS
Target cells are the receptors of the hormone. Hormones have a specific target cell. It responds to the hormone because it has receptors for the hormone. Hormone receptors are found either the surface or inside of the cell.
Binding of hormone to the receptor initiates the reaction. The TRH target cell is located in the cytoplasm intra-cellularly. In order to bind to the specific receptor the hormone has to travel to the membrane of the cell and bind to the DNA.

You may want to create spaces in between lines. And come to see me for your ATAQ on Monday.
ReplyDeletehmm... first time for me to encounter the term 'target cells'
ReplyDeleteI guess I miss some in school before :)
keep it up Julius
Jullius I can't read the texts of your posts. They're very light colored. Kindly change the colors.
ReplyDeleteNice illustration, Jullius. Illustrations could really be a big help in interpreting and understanding text. That, you did well. I won't pretend that I understand all those terms but they definitely sound very much like Star Wars. Targets? Cytoplasm? (Sounds like the Storm Trooper's blasters) Inter-galaxy? (Ooops, wrong. that should be intra-cellular.) :) Anyway, keep posting, man.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are getting pretty good in making posts.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up!

ReplyDeleteThank's again.
Jullius, question: is this illustration yours? You made it for this post? If so, congratulations. Nice job. It makes the post a stand out. I love the special effort you put into writing your post.
ReplyDeletePlease keep on blogging even after this school requirement. You're doing remarkably well. :)
